During an introductory workshop, the evaluation made by external reviewers of SWEAH's activities during the period 2022-2024 was discussed, as well as the future of the graduate school after the current co-financing agreement expires after 2026.
– We have not started any concrete negotiations yet, but just over half of today's partner universities have already announced that they will participate in continued cooperation. Lund University is prepared to coordinate the graduate school in the future, so it looks promising for a continuation,” says SWEAH coordinator Susanne Iwarsson.
Just over half of today's partner universities have already announced that they will participate in continued collaboration.
At the board meeting, it was decided, among other things, to advertise the opportunity for universities, which are not currently affiliated with the graduate school, but also for municipalities, to join the partnership for 2027.
New strategic plan and conference 2026
The board also decided to develop a new strategic plan next year based on the recommendations from the evaluation report.
It was also decided that SWEAH should plan to organize another research conference in November next year. The last one was held in Norrköping in 2023, next time it will be together with Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Date, theme and other details will be released later.
