This time, doctoral students from 8 of SWEAH's 13 partner universities applied. One application each from Dalarna University, Linnaeus University and Linköping University, two from Jönköping University, Kristianstad University and Umeå University, as well as three from Lund University and five from Karolinska Institutet.
From neuroscience to health economics
The PhD students applying represent a range of disciplines within, among others, medicine, social work, physiotherapy, care science, cognitive neuroscience, palliative care, health economics and nutritional and geriatric epidemiology.
The applications will now be carefully reviewed, and those that are complete will be reviewed by six independent researchers at partner universities around the country. They recommend which PhD students can be admitted based on the graduate school's criteria, after which the SWEAH board will make the final decision at the board meeting in November.
The last day to apply for membership was the end of September.
