Guidelines for abstract submission
Deadline for submission is May 8, 2026
Abstracts for the SWEAH conference 2026 should be prepared according to the following guidelines:
General requirements
- Abstracts can be written in Swedish or English.
- Font: Arial, Times New Roman, or equivalent, size 12-point, single line spacing.
- Tables, diagrams, and footnotes should be avoided if possible.
- Please submit abstracts as a Word file to facilitate the review process and the design of digital conference book.
Structure and content
- Type the title in capital letters.
- If the abstract is part of a symposium, please include the title of the symposium at the top of the abstract.
- Include the following subheadings: Introduction, Objectives, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions.
- Include 3–5 keywords (different from the words used in the title).
- Maximum length: 1500 words for symposia; 300 words for oral and poster presentations (Word count excludes title and author information.)
Author information
- List the names and affiliations of all authors.
- Underline the main presenter.
- Include the main presenter’s email address. All correspondence will be sent to the main presenter.
Presentation format
- Indicate the preferred form of presentation (oral presentation, symposium, poster presentation, or thesis at a glance).
- Indicate the preferred presentation language (Swedish or English). The final allocation will aim to balance individual preferences with the overall programme structure.
Additional declarations
- Abstracts will be published in the digital conference handbook by default. If you do not wish your abstract to be published, please indicate this in your submission.
